Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve and Pench Tiger Reserves opens its doors for tourists in monsoon

Mumbai, 19th August, 2016: The wildlife enthusiasts have a reason to rejoice this monsoon as the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve and Pench Tiger Reserve has opened its doors welcoming the tourists to enjoy its brimming wildlife and nature trails this monsoon.  The Ministry of Tourism (MoT) has announced that these famous wildlife sanctuaries will be open for visitors in monsoon in order to give them a unique experience of this season. During monsoon season the Tiger Reserve’s routes like Moharli-Khatoda-Tadoba-Padharpouni-Navegaon, Kolara-Jamani Chowk-Waghai-Padharpouni, Jamani Chowk-Tadoba and Khutvanda-Khatoda-Tadoba via Jamumbodi will be operational for jungle safaris. The gates for Pench Tiger Reserve will be open from Sunna and Mathani entrance points until Tipeshwar Resort.
MTDC has opened its bookings for visitors in its full swing at these infamous Tiger Reserves. Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve, the second Tiger Reserve in Maharashtra is a pristine and unique eco-system situated in the Chandrapur district. It contains some of the best of forest tracks and endowed with rich biodiversity and the monsoon season only adds up to its lush greenery and scenic beauty. The Pench Tiger Reserve, situated in Nagpur, is home to animals like Tiger, Panther, Gaur, Sambar, Chital, Barking deer, Blue bull, Macaque, Langoor, Wild boar, Bear, Wild dogs and Civet cat.
On this announcement, Shri. Satish Soni, Joint Managing Director, Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation said, “In India, Monsoons may bring disappointment for wildlife lovers because many parks get closed in this season. But considering that monsoon only further enhances the picturesque beauty of these forest areas and more people are demanding to experience this wildlife experience in the monsoon season MTDC has given them an opportunity to take a nature trail in this season too. Visiting the Todaba-Andhari and Pench Tiger Reserve in monsoon will prove to be a photographer’s delight too. Some of the best wildlife shots can be taken in this misty season.”
While visiting these Tiger Reserves the travel enthusiasts can stay comfortably at MTDC Resort at Moharli Gate located on the edge of Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve and MTDC Jungle Resort in Pench, Sillari, respectively. Both the resorts serve comfortable accommodations, delicious food and essential amenities.
