Actor and philanthropist Vivek Oberoi has always been at the forefront of noble causes and has contributed to the society in his own ways.
The large-hearted actor who serves as the anti-tobacco spokesperson for World Health Organization and also associated with Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA) for more than a decade will be organising a full-body check-up for employees who work for CINTAA (Cine & Television Artistes’ Association).
It’s learnt that Vivek will conduct the drive along with workers from the CPAA on August 21 in Mumbai.
A source says, “More than 350 employees have registered for the check-up. The physician will check the employees’ weight, pulse, blood pressure, etc. The employees can also get a dental check-up, and will be provided with a session on the ill effects of smoking.”
Vivek says, “I have been associated with CPAA for more than a decade. We have been conducting camps regularly, and we thought of organising one for the employees of CINTAA, as they work around the clock.”
