Indian Princess 2016 gears up for the biggest beauty pageant to be held in Dubai




12th October 2016, Mumbai: The ladies are ready in full style to fight it out amongst themselves for the coveted title of Indian Princess 2016. It is a tough fight as the best faces have been chosen for the latest edition of Indian Princess, a concept by Sunil Rane. Today a Press Conference was held at The Lalit in Mumbai where the finalists shared about their training and grooming sessions with the gathered media. Former beauty queens Ms. Snehapriya Roy (Indian Princess 2015) and Ms. Chandni Sharma (Indian Princess 2014) were present at the press conference to motivate the finalists.

Snehapriya Roy said, "I urge all the participants to create your own identity and not copy others. Be original and you will be liked by one and all."

Chandni Sharma added, "It's amazing to see this year's finalists who come from different parts of India and even world. I wish everyone should also feel beautiful from inside."

This season’s contestants are from all parts of India like Delhi, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Mangalore, Lucknow, Punjab, Ludhiana, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, South Africa & Netherlands-Europe.

UAE, the fashion capital of Middle East, is all set to host the 7th edition of India’s most sought after beauty pageant – Indian Princess. Organized by Atharva and conceptualized by Sunil Rane, Chairman - Indian Princess is a unique beauty pageant where contestants are given an opportunity to showcase their talents. Indian actress and fashion designer Mandira Bedi will be hosting the iconic fashion show scheduled for 20th October at Le Meridien Hotel, Dubai.

The 27 shortlisted beautiful contestants had their training and grooming sessions from 5th till 11th October at the 5 star Portuguese style Blue Ocean Resort & Spa in Ganpatiphule, Ratnagiri. 12th October is the date for the contestants to arrive in Dubai for further professional catwalk training, grooming sessions and photo-shoots. Grooming sessions will be conducted by fashion stylist Naushina Shaikh. She is fashion consultant for Indian Princess 2016 and will be finalizing the wardrobes for the entire show. She will also be styling the fashion shoots for the Fashion Calendar.

Exclusive one on one training fitness sessions will be provided by nutritionist and yoga expert Prajakta Bose. The contestants will be mentored by Mumbai based fashion choreographer Ben Hur D’souza and Celebrity fashion photographer Neil Almeida. They will be trained on the different kinds of photo posing to build camera confidence. Portfolio of the contestants will be shot during the training & grooming sessions in Dubai including that of contestants in their Indian ethnic wear, cocktail dresses and others.

The rounds for the show include Indian Ethnic Wear, Fitness Wear, Cocktail Dresses and Evening Gowns.

Other celebrities that are expected at the Grand finale of Indian Princess 2016 include Moroccan Canadian dancer and actress Nora Fatehi, Indian model and actress Daisy Shah and model and dancer Scarlett Wilson.
