One should clean cupboards and remove unnecessary clutter. It’s important to make the ambience warm and inviting to set the mood, with small elements of change" says Smita elaborating that the day is considered an auspicious day to begin new ventures, Gudi Padwa heralds the beginning of spring and the new year too.
Being a Marathi mulgi, Gudi Padwa is always celebrated on a big scale in Smita's house. This year the actress will be reaching just in the nick of time to be a part of the festivities "I will start my year, working on some wonderful projects. I feel that's the best way to bring in New Years"
