First time in India, Olympic & World Champion Helen Maroulis & MarwaAmri battled it out on Beach Wrestling ahead of PWL 3 Hosted by- Razzberry Rhinoceros, Juhu Hotel, 39/2, Juhu Tara, Juhu, Mumbai

#PWL3 Beach wrestling - spearheaded by Pro Sportify & Indian Wrestling Association

21st December 2017, Mumbai,1:00 pm: In a completely new avatar of Wrestling in India and ahead of PWL 3, an exhibition bout of beach wrestling

was played between Olympic Medalist Marwa Amri of Tunisia and Oympic and World Champion Helen Maroulis, at Razzberry Rhinoceros, Juhu. The commencement of the event was followed by #PWL3 Prime Minister's earnest Swacccha Bharat initiative.

On Thursday morning Helen Maroulis & Marwa Amri participated in the Swaccha Bharat campaign program at Juhu Beach, an initiative conceptualized by  Pro Sportify  in taking Swachh Bharat Abhiyan forward as a part of Pro Wrestling League.

The event saw the presence of - Sunil Yash Kalra ( CEO Pro Wrestling League),  (Co Owner Veer Maratha) , Sameer Jain (Co owner veer Maratha) Ravi jain (Co-owner), Sajid Ali, Kapil Pathare- Director VIP Clothing Ltd, Pragati Mehra, Dr. Aneel Kashi Murarka, Designer Archana Kochhar, , Mitaali Nag, Shweta Khanduri, Smita Gondkar, Aziz Zee, , , Cliffton Gracious, Tushar Jules, Poppy Jabbal (Emcee), Neha Banerjee, Prashant Sharma, DJ Sheizwood. 

On this occasion, Kartikeya Sharma, Founder and promoter of Pro Sportify said, “Beach wrestling is an active sport in 33 countries around the world. Fortunately, the sport is growing & becoming popular in India at a very rapid rate.  Through this game, the two luminaries will Helen Maroulis& Marwa Amri will attempt to generate awareness & promote PWL.  On the same day, the third season of the league will be announced by the top Indian and foreign players in Chandigarh and on 22nd.”

Interestingly, Marwa Amri is a big fan of Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan and has prepared a letter for him. Marwa will be visiting Shahrukh Khan’s home to present him the letter.

Marwa Amri who is a self-confessed fan of Shah Rukh Khan says that back in Tunisia, she doesn't miss even one film of SRK & wishes to meet him. With a desire to meet him, Marwa Amri visited SRK's house Mannat last year in Bandra, Mumbai but unfortunately could not meet him due to his tight shooting schedule. However, this time she is hopeful and confident that she want to meet her favorite actor will surely be fulfilled.

In the last season,  MarwaAmri played for Haryana Hammers and remained undefeated. She says, she would like to keep her victory intact in this season as well.

Helen Maroulis: Current world and Olympic medalist. Has won consecutive gold medals in the 2015 & 2017 world championship.

Marwa Amri: Olympic bronze medalist, also the first African woman wrestler to win a medal in Olympics.
