Onir and I have worked in some very fine films , he is a good friend and a fine , sensitive filmmaker . His films My Brother Nikhil , Bas Ek Pal received huge critical and popular acclaim , I Am went on to receive many International Awards as well as National Award for the Best Hindi film of 2014 . With Shab he has outdone himself , it is his most mature work to date . 

The lead actor Ashish has a certain innocence and charm .He has nailed his performance , he reminded me of a young Aamir Khan .He has huge potential and I think a very bright future in Bollywood ahead of him.
