Rekha Rana attends Romanian Princess’ Royal Family Charity Gala Dinner in Geneva, Switzerland.

Rekha Rana, known for her contribution to social work and her association with several charitable causes, had been invited by the Princess of Romania, Francoise’ Sturdza Foundation’s ‘Heart for India Foundation’ for a charity gala dinner at Maharaja palace in Geneva.

International award winning Indian actress Rekha (her two movies went to Oscars) and world renowned Indian chef Vineet Bhatia is the world ambassador for the Foundation that takes care of the education of more than 35000 kids in India.

While Rekha performed on the popular song, Deewani Mastani, Vineet Bhatia was the chef of the evening. Former Miss India Queenie Singh displayed her jewellery.

Rekha was recently in news for her television commercial where she got the opportunity to share the screen space alongside the megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

Also a theatre artist and winner of Miss Delhi beauty pageant, Rekha has been part of several notable films including women-empowerment film ‘Tara’ and ‘Yahan Ameena Bikti hai’ Directed and Produced by Kumar Raj. 

The megastar wished Rekha all the best for her career and also congratulated her knowing the fact that she is the World Brand Ambassador of an organisation ‘Heart for India foundation’ and is known for her association with noble causes.

‘Heart for India Foundation’ is headed by Princess Francoise Sturdza, princess of Romania, married to Gregory David Roberts – the author of world famous book 'Shantaram'.
