What’s in a name?

We have all heard stories of fans following and worshipping their on-screen idols. It's a common occurrence in a country where people idolise celebrities and mimic their style and mannerisms. Once in a while, we come across certain stories which touch our hearts. One such incident has come to light on the sets of Sony Entertainment Television’s show Mere Sai wherein one of the viewers after being endeared by the performance of Abeer Soofi as Sai Baba has changed her name to Reeba an anagram of the actor's name. The fan recently visited the set and met all the actors and was overwhelmed on meeting Abeer.

When contacted Abeer said, "Since the day the show has gone on air, the viewers have been showering love and affection on me. Many viewers have visited the sets and expressed how happy they were while watching the life story of Sai Baba. Recently one of the viewers met me and told me that she has changed her name to Reeba which is the reverse form of my first name. I was touched by this gesture and deeply moved.”

In the upcoming track of show, Kulkarni has joined forces with Moti who is a drug pedlar and has come to Shirdi. Many villagers fall victim to drug addiction and it’s up to Sai Baba to save the village from the clutches of evil. How will Sai help the villagers? Will he be successful in defeating Kulkarni and Moti in his wicked motives?
