Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Juhi Chawla, Hema Malini, Ronit Roy, Rana daggubatti and others felicitated with Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Awards 2017

The prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Awards 2017 was an evening of glitz and glamour with a galaxy of stars from Bollywood, Indian television and music fraternity walking down the red carpet. Organized at St. Andrew’s in Bandra, Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Awards 2017 recognized some of the best performances and talents of 2016. Anchored by the very entertaining Rohit Roy, the evening witnessed live performances by Sara Khan, Raju Srivastav, Comedian V.I.P amongst others. Organized by Harsh Mehta alongwith actress and producer Poonam Jhawer, Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Awards 2017 this year associated with Smile Foundation the National level development organization as the charity partner to support the cause of gender education through Smile Foundation’s campaign – SHE CAN FLY.

The glittering evening kick-started with the lamp lightening ceremony which was followed by the announcement of winners in different categories. Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who won the award for the best actress female for her stellar performance in the film Sarabjit added the dazzle to the evening with her presence. Actress Hema Malini who won the Award in the category of Kala Shree looked like a dream in a beautiful Sari. Actress Zeenat Aman was her effervescent self when she walked the stage to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. The list of other awardees is as follows:
