Dhai Kilo Prem Actress Nandini Gupta Survives Car Crash..!

The beautiful and very talented actress Nandini Gupta, who features in the Balaji Production’s Dhai Kilo Prem, met with a severe accident on her way to the shoot, 2 days ago.

A source says, “While driving to the set of her latest TVC Dhai Kilo Prem, Nadini met with a severe accident, nearly escaping death. She was driving at normal speed on Goregaon highway when suddenly a speeding car from the other side banged into her car causing a 360-degree turn crossing the divider on the side."

“The window glasses of the car broke into pieces and the car was badly damaged. Nandini got major injuries mostly internal because of the glass pieces. Noticing this accident, a lot of people came to her rescue ensuring she was safe. Nandini had fainted due to the impact. The police soon came to the site and took her to the police station for further investigation after giving her first-aid support,” adds the source.

Nandini was there at the police station for around 5 hours. Once the investigation was done she immediately rushed to the set driving the same car. On seeing her, the crew on the set asked her to call off the shoot and advised her to take rest but she denied and continued with the shoot.

While Nandini’s character in reel-life is strong, dominating and powerful, in real life too she is the same. Even though she went through the horrible accident and trauma, she kept everything to herself, did not even let her closed ones know what kind of trauma she was going through. She went alone for the police investigation and got everything done on her own. In spite of this, she continued to the set, with wounds and shot for the episode. This attitude of her's left her co-stars and members of the set shocked. Nandini says, "I am thankful to God for saving my life. It was a miracle that i escaped death. Thank you to the team of Dhai Kilo Prem as well, as they took good care of me on the set during the shoot and helped me get out of the trauma."

A spokesperson from the set commended Nandini for her bravura act saying, “It is rare to find such a strong girl who, in spite of going through such a traumatic accident, arrived on the set for the shoot with the same enthusiasm and stayed till late in the night till the shoot was over. Hats off to Nandini and hope she gets well soon.”
