Actor Rajiv Mishra to be a part of Mere Sai

Noted television actor Rajiv Mishra is all set to enter Sony Entertainment Television’s show Mere Sai. He will be seen portraying the character of Dilawar Ali, a Godman who enters Shirdi with three disciples. Daya Shankar Pandey is known for essaying notable roles in other television shows during his earlier stints along with landmark movies such as Dabbang, War Chodd Na Yaar etc. A devotee of Sai Baba, he firmly believes in Sai Baba’s teachings of Shraddha (Faith) and Saburi (Patience).

Rajiv Mishra confirms, “I thought a lot before agreeing to do this role as I feel an actor needs to inherently feel that he can do justice to the part. It’s a daunting task for me to be able to perform in front of an actor who is enacting the role of Sai. I have worked on many shows earlier, but this is the first time I am associated with a unique show like Mere Sai. In Mere Sai, my character’s name is Dilaver Ali, a God man with a distinct look as he is completely wrapped in a white cloth from head to toe, and in a quirky way he doesn’t like anyone touching his feet and even beats them if they do so.”
