Yogita Bihani bags a lead role in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Dil Hi Toh Hai’

There have been a lot of chatters and speculation about who will be the lead for Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming love saga ‘Dil Hi Toh Hai’ on Sony Entertainment Television! The wait for the female lead is finally over with Yogita Bihani bagging the role of ‘Palak Sharma’ in the show. Yogita has done few commercials and a reality cooking show. Last, she was spotted with Dumdaar Salman Khan in ‘Dus Ka Dum’ latest promo. The show, Dil Hi Toh Hai has been a talk of the town ever since Ekta first spoke of it. But with Yogita stepping in, do we expect another fresh face to be India’s next big television sensation in making?

Says an excited Yogita, “It is a dream come true for me! First bagging a promo with Dumdaar Salman and now the czarina of Indian television, Ekta Kapoor’s show! It could not have been bigger than this. For any newcomer, bagging Ekta’s show is the biggest platform that one can get. I am super excited and equally nervous too. I had been trying my luck in acting for some time now. This has been a double whammy for me. The role of Palak is that of a happy go lucky person with strong opinion feminist. I am looking forward to starting shooting soon and hope that the audience will appreciate my work.”
