Dilip Joshi: This is really scary... children should never attempt this’

Actor Dilip Joshi, better known as Jethalal from the show 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah', recently had two young fans attempting to meet him. While actors love meeting their fans, especially children, this one was a shocker for Dilip. Reason: The two boys, aged 14 and 13, had run away from their homes in Rajasthan to meet their favourite TV star. Fortunately, the Powai police found them. Confirming the incident, Sub Inspector Raosaheb Mote told BT, “Their families have arrived from Rajasthan to take them back. Meanwhile, a visit with Dilip Joshi is also being arranged.”

The actor was quite shocked when we informed him about the incident. He said, “This is really scary. It is good that the two boys were found by the police. What if they were caught by some anti-social elements? I understand that Jethalal is popular, but children should never attempt something like this. I also heard that the boys had started working to meet their travel expenses to Mumbai. I would love to meet them, but this kind of action really shocks me.”
