Had to Choose Acting Over Choreography When I Fractured My Leg: Ravi Gossain

Zindagi Ke Crossroads which airs on Sony Entertainment Television showcases relatable life-altering stories, inspired from the drama of life. One such intriguing story is on the topic of ‘Cricket Coach’ where the versatile actor Ravi Gossain will be seen donning the character of a Cricket Coach who wants a member from his team selected for U- 19 national team. The story revolves between selecting the best player or selecting a player who has a high reach in the board to benefit himself and the stadium where the players practice.  It’s a poignant and emotional tale which will not just encourage the audience to share their views but will also delve into the “Whys” of their decision making so as to bring alive the melting pot of opinions in the audience for the narratives showcased.

While talking to Ravi Gossain, he said,” When the production house contacted me I was very excited to come down for the auditions and give a look test. I was given the script to read and I found the content very intriguing. I originally started my career as a dancer and a choreographer where I had won 2 All- India Dance Championships in my college days. Later, when I was auditioning for the third one, I met with an accident and fractured my leg which made me leave my dancing career aside and had to take up acting as a career.  The experience to shoot for the show has been outstanding and the director made sure I was given my own space to act and use my creativity.”
