Kavita Kaushik threatens trolls with dire consequences if they don’t stop posting trashy comments on her posts

Social media has created a great platform for fans to interact with their favourite stars. While celebs keep on sharing moments from their lives, fans keep on gushing over them. One of the bad aspects of social media is the constant trolling faced by celebs. Be it Hina Khan, Karan Patel, Divyanka Tripathi, Shama Sikander, Anusha Dandekar, or Kavita Kaushik – fans don’t stop expressing their hatred and negativity towards them. While social media is a place to express opinions, the cheap comments and slut shaming by fans have become commonplace. Moreover, female celebs face it the most. Among the many actresses, Kavita Kaushik is one who has been trolled for her bikini outings numerous times. While the actress gave it back to the trolls in her own style, Hindustan Times asked her take on it.

She said, “We are taught to respect our elders, but I think we should instead teach children to differentiate between right and wrong, good and bad, and behave with people according to their behaviour, not their age.” Kavita added, “I used to think maybe the reactions were because I posed in shorts, in a bikini or maybe in a tight T-shirt, but I got cheap comments even when I was wearing salwar kameez and was covered from head to toe. I am very comfortable with my body, so I don’t mind posing while doing yoga or in a bikini and posting these pictures on social media. But my husband is not from the film fraternity and he gets affected by such obscene comments, and that is not okay with me.” She also told that the girls shouldn’t be afraid of anyone. “I want to tell the people who make such trashy comments to stop making such comments or I will expose them and even file a police complaint. The world has changed and women need not be afraid anymore. I want to tell all the girls out there to make social media their strength, as it’s an amazing medium. There are a few people who are ruining this medium for others for their profit or perversion. Let’s not let them do that. Let’s expose them,” said the actor. Well, we completely agree with her.
