Balika Vadhu: Yukti Kapoor to replace Jayshree Soni in the upcoming revamp! Jayshree Soni had prior commitments and realised that she would not be able to juggle two shows at a time

Balika Vadhu will be going over to a revamp track where the entire cast will be changed and fresh faces will be seen playing the same characters.

As the show Balika Vadhu gears up for its revamp track, the casting team seems to be having a hard time finalising and holding on to their new actors. While the new cast includes fresh faces like Mahhi Vij and Ruslaan Mumtaz, actress Jayshree Soni has reportedly backed out even before starting shoot.

Casting can be a tedious job as the actors must be rightly chosen to fit well into the character. Apart from that, if someone has already played the character before, the actor has the added pressure of overcoming the comparisons that are bound to happen. So, no wonder it is stressful to be cast in the revamp track of an existing show.

Buzz is that Yukti Kapoor will be replacing Jayshree whose role was going to be a pivotal one. While Jayshree is known for her role in Chidiya Ghar, Yukti is popular for her role in Siya Ke Ram.

Jayshree has apparently backed out due to her prior commitments. She has said that she initially thought that she would be able to juggle between her two shows without any trouble. But as she started working out her schedule, she realised that she would be straining herself too much. The schedules would clash too. So, to do justice to her previous commitment, she gave up this role.
