Shocker: Hina Khan Out Of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, Krystle D’Souza Steps In

One of the biggest news to break out when Ekta Kapoor dropped the promo for Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 was Hina Khan stepping in to play the role of the classic vamp, Komolika. The actress all but confirmed the news and fans were super excited to see their favourite bahu back on screen, this time in a negative avataar.

“I won’t say it’s not happening, but I suggest let’s wait for the official announcement. Yes, I did go to meet Ekta and somehow people started to speculate, and it came to a point where they even confirmed that I’ve been roped in for the show, whereas I’m yet to sign anything. I mean you don’t know what talks we exchanged in a room and how it works, so let the makers make the final announcement,” Hina had earlier shared.

Urvashi Dholakia, who played the original Komolika had, however, refrained from congratualting Hina. “Who am I to answer that?” she had exclaimed when asked if Hina was the right choice. Well, we guess she was right to not jump the gun because it seems like things haven’t worked out perfectly for Bigg Boss’ Hina.

Ekta shared a photo recently with an interesting caption that lead to all the speculation in the first place. "Taking tips from the gang on creating the new age mean girl!" she wrote with a selfie that had her, the OG vamp Urvashi Dholakia, Ankita Karan Patel and Krystle D'Souza. The fact that Hina was missing from this photo was a major indication, and now, sources have confirmed that Krystle and not Hina is Ekta’s new age mean girl!

Krystle started her acting career with Balaji Telefilms with the show, Kahe Naa Kahe in 2007. She was again seen in a Balaji venture with her role in Kya Dill Mein Hai and Brahmarakshas. The actress is known for her role in Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai and Ekk Nayi Pehchaan.

She was last seen in Colors TV's Belan Wali Bahu.
