The USP of the Kaushik family is that they are very close-knit, lekin yeh ghatna thoda hila deti hai family ko. Ek embarrassment

ki kahani hai that will entertain you. A guy, joh khud shaadi ke laayak hai, who has a girlfriend, what happens when his mother

gets pregnant, that’s the story. We have not made a comedy. It’s the situation that will make you laugh.

The dialogues will make

you laugh because of the situation. Like, when daadi asks, ‘Time kab mil gaya tujhe?’ or when Ayushmann’s character says,

‘Yeh bhi koi mummy-papa ke karne ki cheez hai?’. The inspiration for Kaushik family – Kuashik saab and Mrs Kaushik – came

from my own family, my own parents. The love that we have shown between these two is the kind of love I have seen in my

parents
