Sonali Bendre and Rishi Kapoor, who are undergoing medical treatment in

New York, have been receiving a steady stream of visitors — mostly their

friends and well-wishers in the industry.

The latest to visit Sonali is Namrata Shirodkar. The former actress, who is

currently holidaying with her husband — South superstar Mahesh Babu —

and their children (Gautham and Sitara) in the Big Apple, dropped in to

meet Sonali.

Later, talking to a daily about the meeting, Namrata said that Sonali is

looking fit and ready to resume normal life. Calling her friend a “strong

girl”, Namrata said that the two had a lovely time together, and talked

about many things. According to Namrata, Sonali also told her the entire

story of her illness. She further added that Sonali, who is undergoing treatment for cancer, is always in her prayers.

Meanwhile, it’s not just Namrata who is catching up with her friends. Her daughter Sitara had a dream-come-true moment in

New York, when she met Alia Bhatt there. Namrata posted a pic of her daughter and Alia on Instagram and captioned it thus:
