Rohit Shetty is currently busy working on his upcoming film 'Simmba' starring Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan. Ranveer will be playing the character of a cop named Sangram Bhalerao.

And now we hear that, before the release of 'Simmba', the filmmaker has locked on a new project. Reportedly, Shetty will be directing Bollywood's Khiladi, Akshay Kumar in his next. The film will start rolling in the month of May or June 2019. The report further states that Akshay has also given his nod and the dates for the project as the 'Hera Pheri' sequel on which he was supposed to work, has been delayed.
