Here’s what ‘Kedarnath’ director Abhishek Kapoor has to say on being often called as the lucky mascot of newcomers
Even after being embroiled amid so many controversies, ‘Kedarnath’
recently made it to the big screen and has been enjoying a good run at
the box office. The Abhishek Kapoor directorial marked the debut of Sara
Ali Khan in the Bollywood industry and the actress has garnered
appreciation for her amazing screen presence in the same. This is not the
first time that Abhishek Kapoor has launched a newcomer in the industry,
as a matter of fact, he is considered as a lucky mascot for the debutantes.
Sharing his point on the same, Abhishek Kapoor says that he only makes
sure that justice is done with the movie, which eventually adds to the
benefits of the actors.
The director quotes, “I don't think I am lucky. Everything is planned, even
the minutest details. Making a movie itself is a responsibility. With whoever comes to serve the projects, I keep the discipline in
order, ensuring that nothing else turns more important than the film. This way justice is done to the film. And that is why I feel
movies are successful and the actors benefit from it.”
Further, talking about his latest outing ‘Kedarnath’, Abhishek Kapoor seems really content that the audience is enjoying the
movie. He went on to say, “I am very happy with the reactions the movie is getting and that people are enjoying it
