Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone head out for their honeymoon

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who tied the knot on November 14 and 15 in Lake Como, Italy, finally headed out on their long overdue honeymoon, late last night. Twinning and winning in all black ensembles which they paired with boots and trendy eye-wear, the couple were all smiles as they walked hand-in-hand and greeted the shutterbugs on their way into the airport.

As revealed by Deepika in an interview, the couple put their honeymoon plans on hold until the release of Ranveer’s latest offering, ‘Simmba’. With the film already becoming the actor’s highest opener thus far, you can bet the celebrations are only just getting started. With the film off to a great star, and New Year just around the corner along with Deepika’s birthday coming up in the days ahead, the newly-weds are sure to make the most of this holiday before heading back to work.

Both Deepika and Ranveer have a busy year ahead, with Ranveer awaiting the release of his next ‘Gully Boy’ in February along with other shooting commitments and Deepika is all set to begin work on her first production ‘Chhapaak’ where she will be seen playing acid attack survivor, Laxmi Agarwal.
