Ranveer Singh believes that 2018 has been a landmark year for him

This has been a significant year for Ranveer Singh. After the success of

'Padmaavat' earlier in the year, in which he played the menacing Alauddin

Khilji, the actor has another release this week—

Rohit Shetty's 'Simmba'.

Ranveer is already being lauded for both his celluloid performances.

On the personal front, too, it has been a special year. The actor got

married to long-time beau Deepika Padukone last month in a fairy-tale

wedding at Lake Como in Italy. The couple also threw multiple receptions

post that in India.

In a recent interview, Ranveer spoke about how 2018 could well be a

landmark year for him, especially if 'Simmba' too does well. He shared that the joy that he gets out of the rewards, can't be

compared to the joy that he gets out of the process itself.
