Dabboo Ratnani's wife Manisha reacts to backslash against Shraddha Kapoor's Native American avatar

Actress Shraddha Kapoor was among a list of celebrities who recently featured in the famous Dabboo Ratnani's celebrity calendar 2019. Shraddha sported a colourful Native American headband and has managed to grab the eyeballs but not for the right reasons. Many people on the social media have accused the actress and the photographer for the misappropriation of the Native American culture. 

Reportedly, Dabboo Ratnani's wife Manisha D Ratnani was asked about the issue. Manisha replied that currently they are not aware of the ongoing issue and the intention is never to hurt anyone whether it is from India or from abroad. She also said she had no clue of the cultural appropriation issue.

The Native American headdress was also a common sight at many music festivals across the US but many have banned lately to preserve the cultural and spiritual identity of Native American people who consider them sacred.

Dabboo Ratnani's calendar this year also featured Shah Rukh Khan, Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon, Kiara Advani, Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Sunny Leone among others.
