Actress Kriti Sanon, who made her B-Town debut with ‘Heropanti’ opposite Tiger Shroff, has been part of quite a few big films in Bollywood. While she shared screen space with none other than Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Dilwale’ (2015), her convincing portrayal of a Lucknow ki ladki in ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ (2017) won her rave reviews.
And now, the actress is busy promoting her upcoming film, ‘Luka Chuppi’, in which she will be seen opposite Kartik Aaryan. The film, directed by Laxman Utekar, is a romantic comedy, which also stars Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi and Vinay Pathak in pivotal roles.
Like her character Bitti in ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, Rashmi (her character in ‘Luka Chuppi’) is also a UP girl. However, talking to a daily, Kriti said that apart from their UP connection, there’s nothing common between Bitti and Rashmi. The actress said that while Bitti was very liberal in her thinking, she was always bound by her family values. On the other hand, she added, Rashmi is a Delhi-educated girl, who wants to work in the Capital. In that sense, Rashmi is modern than Bitti.
