Milind Soman would like to make a biopic of THIS sportsperson

Be it ‘Mary Kom’, 'M.S Dhoni : The Untold Story', 'Dangal', 'Budhia Singh: Born To Run', 'Azhar' or 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag', Bollywood has seen quite a few sports biopics in recent years. And, now Milind Soman has said that he wants to add one more name to the list.

The model-turned-fitness promoter has said that he wants to narrate the life story of long-distance runner Shivnath Singh on celluloid. Elaborating on Shivnath, Milind said that he is the national record holder in the 42-kilometre marathon category. He set the record, running barefoot, in 1978, and till date, that record has not been broken. Milind, who is known for running barefoot, said that he has been following Shivnath’s footsteps.

However, that’s not Milind’s only dream. A while ago, talking to Bombay Times, Milind had revealed two of his other dreams as well. He had said, “I would love to make a film on Lord Shiva. That has been on my mind for the longest time and I want to scale Mount Everest as well.”

Talking about movies, when the daily asked him why he was not seen in many movies these days, Milind said that was because he did not wish to do the same roles “over and over again”. He added that he has turned his attention towards the web platform, as it has given him the opportunity to play a variety of characters.
