Salman Khan gets in the festive mood for 'Bharat'

Salman Khan’s Ali Abbas Zafar directorial 'Bharat', which is to hit the marquee on Eid this year, also celebrates other Indian festivals. And according to a source close to the project, the film features six songs to reflect the festive fervour. While three songs are centered around Holi, Diwali and a wedding each, the rest have romance and tragedy as their backdrop.

Ali, who has collaborated with composer-duo Vishal-Shekhar and lyricist Irshad Kamil for the third time after 'Sultan' and 'Tiger Zinda Hai', is currently filming the wedding song at Filmcity with his leads, Salman and Katrina Kaif, and their co-stars Sunil Grover and Aasif Sheikh. “For the ongoing 40-day schedule, the team has recreated Delhi of the 1950s and ’60s. The music sittings started much before the film went on the floors in July last year and unlike the current trend, the album doesn’t have any recreated numbers,” the source added.
