Sophie Choudry and Manj Musik collaborate on a party number

Striking a new collaboration with Punjabi musician Manj Musik (former lead singer and composer of the UK-based band RDB), Sophie Choudry’s new song is called ‘Ajj Naiyo Sauna’ (No Sleep). The man behind smash hits like ‘Saddi Galli’,

‘Whistle Baja’ and ‘High Rated Gabru’ has produced and featured in the new track. Talking about his association with the actress-singer he says, “Sophie is an incredible singer and performer. For me, she is India’s answer to Jennifer Lopez and we felt it was time people saw her Punjabi side, too.”

Revealing more details about the dance track, Sophie says, “We have been working on this song for a year and I can’t wait to share it with everyone. It’s a fun, dance song with a super glam and glossy video shot by a team that flew in from the UK and Estonia. Rocky S has styled for it, too. It’s been awesome working with Manj and we are

already planning our next collaboration.” She has more upbeat tracks coming up. She says, “I’ve also recorded with The Doorbeen (artistes who’ve made the pop sensation song Lamberghini Boys) and another awesome collaboration is on the way.”

Busy with her new releases and non-stop concerts, Sophie feels pressed for time and the lyrics of ‘Ajj Naiyo Suana’ could become a reality for her, too. She plans to have a grand release for the party song in February.
