I aspire to become the ‘King of Romance’ like Shahrukh Khan: Aashay Mishra

Star Bharat’s most awaited show Pyaar Ke Papad, marks the television debut of Aashay Mishra. The newbie plays the role of a die-hard romantic hero in the show, who is madly in love with a Pandit’s daughter. Aashay has been leaving no stones unturned while taking lessons on romance, secretly aspires to become the King of Romance, like Shahrukh Khan. Infact for the role of Omkaar, he regularly practices scenes from SRK’s movies and tries to copy his style in his own humorous way. It was an exciting opportunity for the actor when the makers of the show decided to recreate a popular DDLJ scene for the show promos.

Speaking about the same, Aashay shares, “I have been a huge fan of Shahrukh Sir since childhood. I like his style, his persona, acting skills and everything about him. There is no one who can romance like Shah Rukh Khan in this whole world. I was so lucky that I got to replicate his movie in one of the promos of the show. So getting into the shoes of DDLJ’s Raj was very overwhelming for me. I wish to meet and personally take lessons from him once.”
