It’s bonding time for Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and Taapsee Pannu on the sets of ‘Mission Mangal’

Mission Mangal’, which is produced by Akshay Kumar and R Balki, and directed by Jagan Shakti, is currently being shot on a big scale. And news has emerged from the sets that the team makes it a point to eat together. Starring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha and Kirti Kulhari among others, the cast has made it compulsory to have lunch together.

In a recent interview, Taapsee said that it was a rule made on day one of the shooting, which the cast follows sincerely. She said that only if someone was under the weather or needed to rest, were they allowed to skip the team lunch. The actors have worked with each other in the past, which probably explains the warm camaraderie they share on the sets. While Taapsee and Kirti worked together in ‘Pink’, Taapsee and Akshay worked together in ‘Baby’ and ‘Naam Shabana’. Akshay has worked with Vidya in ‘Hey Baby’ and with Sonakshi in ‘Rowdy Rathore’ and ‘Joker’.

Taapsee and Sonakshi will be sharing screen space for the first time and already get along very well. Taapsee said that the bond developed between the stars was special and that she was proud of their work in the film.
