Ranvir Shorey in the latest media interaction revealed how being a son of a filmmaker has affected his film career so far.

Ranvir Shorey who has offered noteworthy performances in films and TV shows will be now seen in Abhishek Chaubey's 'Sonchiriya' which is just a few days away from its release. The actor was asked during the media interactions has he been sidelined by the mainstream filmmakers on which the actor expressed that his surname is somewhat the reason behind it.

He explained his last name has a history in this business as his father K.D Shorey was also a film producer and that affects how one gets cast in a film and how he is been perceived by the biggies in Bollywood.

He also revealed that Bollywood is not an even playing field and it's an intensely political place behind the bonhomie that goes on. Ranvir further added that he has changed his career choices and decisions after the birth of his son.
