1) Doi Inthanon, Chiang Mai- The Land of the Unsullied, Meereen

Meereen, northern most region of The Slaver’s Bay
Much like the land of Meereen, the northern most region of the famous Slaver’s Bay, Doi Inthanon, is the highest peak located in the North of Thailand. Also known as "The Roof of Thailand", Doi Inthanon is a part of the Himalayan mountain range, which is the highest mountain in country. It is famous for its number of waterfalls, few trails, remote villages, picturesque montane farms, viewpoints, watching sunrise/sunset, bird-watching and the all year round cool weather (unlike other parts of Thailand).
The park sure was named in honour of King Inthawichayanon, one of the last kings of Chiang Mai, this fortress looks like a home for “Daenerys of The House Targaryen, the first of her name, the unburnt, the Queen of the Andals….” Well, you know the drift!
2) Wat Umong, Chiang Mai: The Crypt of Winterfell

The Crypt of Winterfell, the northernmost province of Seven Kingdoms
If you’ve watched the first two episodes of the most awaited finale, the Crypt of Winterfell surely concealed a game-changing secret. A very close lookalike of the crypt, the Tunnel Temple will give you the exact feels.
The Wat, which is s a 700-year-old Buddhist temple in Chiang Mai, is famous for its ancient tunnels and large chedi. There are tunnels with intricate carvings and state-of-the-art sculptures below the chedi which can be explored alongside other activities. History says that these spectacular tunnels were supposedly built by the then ‘King in the North’ and painted with bush scenes so they could keep a ‘watch’ on a famous but mentally deranged monk within the grounds of the monastery.
3) Wat Rong Khun, Chiang Rai: The White Temple

The ice-dragon destroying the Wall
Remember that iconic end scene in season 7 wherein the Night King’s arrow targets Daenery’s dragon and it wakes up with its eyes, blue?
Wat Rong Khun, in Chiang Rai, quite appropriately called ‘The White Temple’ looks just like a castle that the Night King and his army of white walkers must have captured, and the ice-dragon must have frozen over! However, the White Temple is an art exhibit center in the province of Chiang Rai. The entire structure is boasts of refined sculptures of life-sized dragons.
It is a must visit beyond the wall!
4) Chiang Dao: The John and Ygritte Cave
Chiang Dao, Chiang Mai, North Thailand
The cave shown in Season 3
How can one forget the scene when the world went ‘awww’ after Jon Snow and Ygritte’s special moment in the cave? It is still one of the memorable scenes that was in contrast to the otherwise bloody and gaudy episodes of the series.
A similar cave with small pool beds can also be found in the Chiang Dao areas of Thailand if one wants to relive their favorite Jon Snow-Ygritte memory.
5) Sukhothai: The Highgarden

The Sukhothai Garden in Central Thailand, North of Bangkok
Highgarden, the regional capital of The Reach
Sukhothai, is a province in Central Thailand which stands tall with historical glory as it contains the reestablished 13th-century royal residences and sanctuaries of the Kingdom of Siam. The ancient old city is known as Mueang-Gòw, and features modified remnants, amongst the most antiquated locales in Thailand.
Sukhothai Historical Park could have been a ‘High-Garden’ for the kings and queens who reigned then. Perhaps the Tyrells can tell!
So, if you’re a GoT fan and the ‘things you do for love’ is travel, wait no more. These unexplored places in Thailand will transport you to the lands of your favorite kings, queens and khaleesis and just like the North, you will remember too!
And this, we swear by the old Gods and the new.
