Deepika Padukone to wrap up 'Chhapaak' shoot on June 5

Deepika Padukone who impressed us with her attires at the on going Cannes Film Festival is back in Mumbai and has resumed the shoot of Meghna Gulzar's 'Chhapaak'. A few months back Deepika's look from the film was revealed and the actress stunned one and all with her uncanny resemblance to Laxmi Aggarwal, on whom the film is based.

Now, according to the latest development, Deepika and the entire team is working towards completing the film's last schedule, which is being shot in Mumbai and as per the report, the team will wrap up the film's shoot by June 5. As soon as Deepika completes the final leg of the movie, she will head to London along with husband Ranveer Singh, probably for her stint in yet another aspiring movie '83', where in she plays the role of Kapil Dev's wife.

'Chhapaak' is about bravery and triumph as it tells the story of an acid attack survivor, Laxmi Aggarwal. The film will also see Vikrant Massey opposite Deepika.
