Kolkata, 28th May 2019: RED FM, one of the largest and most awarded private radio networks in India in association with The Bharat Army, team India’s biggest cricket supporters club globally has kickstarted its World Cup campaign ‘Mera Josh Mahaan’. Capturing the electrifying feeling of ‘JOSH’, for World Cup 2019, RED FM is giving fans an opportunity to experience the tournament in England.



The campaign will be executed in more than key markets across the country with 45 days of nonstop ‘JOSH’. Keeping the passion of the World Cup alive, RED FM created an energetic anthem capturing the emotions of cricket fans. The josh anthem has been composed by RED FM team and leading Bollywood singer, Divya Kumar was roped in for vocals.



On the campaign ‘Mera Josh Mahaan’ Nisha Narayanan, COO, RED FM said, “India is a nation where cricket is more like a religion. In a one in a million opportunity, RED FM will be running a slogan contest to give a chance to 12 lucky fans across India to go to England on an all-expense paid trip. In this exclusive chance, enthusiastic cricket fans can participate and win the opportunity to cheer for the Indian cricket team in England.



Additionally, RED FM will also be hosting the following activities on-air for their listeners:

Score Jockeys: Among the many activities in this campaign, fans will get an opportunity to be a part of an exclusive section on-air called ‘Score Jockey’s’. Lucky fans will get a chance to be the voice of RED FM and provide score updates in quirky and interesting ways.
Gupta Ji Ki Googli’: Standup comedian Appurv Gupta, popularly known as Guptaji will be featured on a series of World Cup centric comedy capsules called ‘Gupta Ji Ki Googli’, creating a perfect blend of humour and cricket.
Bunk for India: With a Cricket Trivia on-air contest, listeners will have to download RED FM India app to get shortlisted for the ‘Bunk For India’ contest. The special die-hard cricket fan will get the opportunity to bunk work without the pressure of losing their money as RED FM will pay their salary for 1-day, so that the winner can enjoy one full day of non-stop cricket unhindered.
